How to Install Official Lenovo ZUK Z1 Stock Rom on Your Device




If you own a Lenovo ZUK Z1 smartphone and want to restore it to its original factory settings, you may need to flash the official stock rom on your device. The stock rom is the official firmware that comes pre-installed on your phone and contains the operating system, drivers, apps and settings. You will also need a Windows PC, a USB cable, and a few tools and files that we will provide below.


Requirements




  • A Lenovo ZUK Z1 smartphone with at least 50% battery charge.



  • A Windows PC with QPST tool installed. You can download QPST tool from here.



  • A USB cable to connect your phone to your PC.



  • The official Lenovo ZUK Z1 stock rom file. You can download it from here.



  • The Qualcomm driver for your phone. You can download it from here.



Steps to Install Official Lenovo ZUK Z1 Stock Rom




  • Download and extract the Lenovo ZUK Z1 stock rom file on your PC. You will get a folder with several files inside.



  • Install the Qualcomm driver on your PC by running the setup file.



  • Turn off your phone and boot it into EDL mode by pressing and holding Volume Up + Volume Down + Power buttons together for a few seconds.



  • Connect your phone to your PC using the USB cable. Your PC should recognize your phone as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.



  • Run QPST tool on your PC and click on the QFIL icon.



  • Click on Browse and locate the rawprogram_unsparse.xml file from the stock rom folder.



  • Click on Load XML and locate the patch0.xml file from the same folder.



  • Click on Download and wait for the flashing process to complete. It may take a few minutes.
